What does Tanzania Minerals Mining Specialist Ltd do?
We are a Tanzanian mining and mineral development company. We identify, explore, develop and responsibly commercialise mineral opportunities in Tanzania, and we build partnerships between Tanzanian mineral-right holders and the international mining and investment community.
Are you a mining company or an investment company?
Both, by design. We seek to participate across the mining value chain, from opportunity identification and exploration through to development, production, processing, value addition and market access.
Where do you operate?
Throughout Tanzania, wherever the geology, licensing and economics justify attention.
Which minerals are you interested in?
Gold, tanzanite, coloured gemstones (ruby, sapphire, tsavorite and other garnets, tourmaline, spinel, emerald and beryl, zircon, chrysoberyl), graphite, nickel, copper, lithium and rare earth elements. We may also evaluate diamond, cobalt, manganese, iron ore and industrial minerals.
Do you buy gemstones or minerals outright?
Our interest in gemstones includes responsible sourcing and trading, as well as grading, cutting, polishing and international marketing. Contact us with a description of the material, its origin and provenance, and we will tell you whether and how we can engage.
Why do you focus on critical minerals such as graphite and lithium?
Because they underpin electrification, energy storage and advanced manufacturing, and Tanzania holds prospective ground for them. We regard these as long-term investment sectors.
I hold a mineral right. What can you offer?
Depending on the property: exploration partners, strategic investors, mining equipment, technical expertise, processing solutions, joint-venture partners, project development capital, mineral buyers and international market access.
How do you evaluate a property?
According to its legal status, geological potential, technical requirements and commercial viability. We start with the licence, its location, any geological information, sampling or assay results, and propose the next step that would tell both parties more.
Will you fund exploration on my licence?
Exploration financing is one of our investment structures. It is committed in stages, as geological and commercial evidence accumulates, usually within a joint-venture or partnership agreement.

Details of the mineral right (type, holder, status), the location, the mineral, any work done so far and what you are looking for.
How can an investor participate?
Through joint ventures, exploration financing, mine development capital, participation in existing operations, mineral-processing investment, gemstone value addition, strategic and critical-mineral partnerships, and equipment or technology partnerships.
What is your investment process?
Eight stages: opportunity identification, preliminary assessment, technical verification, investment evaluation, partnership structure, exploration and development, production, and value addition with market access. Each stage must justify the next.
